Build Your Career at MEDIQ Physical Therapy

MEDIQ is an independent, people-first practice with clinics in Holly Springs, Greensboro and Cary, NC. You’ll get one-on-one patient time, real mentorship, and a schedule that respects your life outside the clinic.

Our Story

MEDIQ was built to go deeper with our patients, our team, and our community. Patients aren’t numbers, and neither are the people who work here.

The name MEDIQ is inspired by the word “medic,” a nod to the founder’s mother who served in the U.S. Army, and it carries the “Q” from our family name. Our military roots have shaped how we lead, with discipline, structure, and service at the core. We believe in lifting others up, taking responsibility for the team around us, and operating with purpose and integrity in everything we do.

We started MEDIQ to expand access to care for anyone who needs it. We’re not a corporate chain. We’re a people-first company that grows with its people, not at their expense.

Why MEDIQ Physical Therapy?

Mentorship and Growth

We have cultivated a strong team of physical therapists. We encourage collaboration with other disciplines. If you are searching for a fantastic team to join and develop your clinical skills with, we would love to support you on your journey. Clinicians should work in an environment where they feel valued, heard, and equipped to grow in their careers.

New grad or experienced, you’ll work with a senior mentor through weekly meetings and direct treatment guidance. New grads follow a dedicated onboarding pathway with regular co-treatments, weekly clinical reasoning mentorship, and a gradually paced caseload.

Experienced clinicians can specialize in ortho or neuro and grow into roles like Senior Therapist, Team Lead, Clinic Director, Regional Director, and Partner. We also offer in-services and continuing education reimbursement.

Who You’ll Treat

You’ll treat patients one-on-one, build detailed care plans, and work closely with other disciplines and referral providers. We serve three main groups:

  • General orthopedic patients: post-surgical, chronic pain, and acute injuries
  • Balance patients, including geriatric fall prevention and vestibular cases
  • Sports and aquatic therapy patients: runners, active and retired military, weekend warriors, and high school or collegiate athletes

What We Offer

  • Pay and benefits: competitive salary, 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, paid time off, and flexible schedules
  • Low-cost health insurance: $500 deductible through BCBS NC
  • Disability coverage: short-term and long-term
  • Ongoing learning: in-house courses and continuing education reimbursement
  • Inclusive culture: everyone’s uniqueness is celebrated and every team member is equally valued
  • Less paperwork: PromptHealth and PredictionHealth AI documentation tools

What to Expect

Our interview process

We start with a conversation about your career goals and your story. Qualified applicants then tour our facility, meet the clinical team, and talk through how you’d fit in.

How we approach care

We teach patients that many joint changes and structural variations are normal, age-related, and often painless. Instead of relying on passive modalities, we coach patients to manage loads safely at home with simple, sustainable exercises.

— Physical Therapist

I’ve been employed by MEDIQ for 1.5 years and enjoy my work very much. The company values their patients and employees and provides a welcoming environment that promotes quality care. There is a variety of cases that make everyday exciting and engaging. The team of therapists all bring different knowledge and skills to the table. As an outpatient practice, the caseload is consistently flowing, but is not overwhelming. I feel heard and like my continued growth is encouraged as a clinician.
