Dr. Aidan Swift joined MEDIQ Physical Therapy in February 2025. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the State University of New York at Cortland and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. He specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, with additional expertise in strength and conditioning. He has worked with high-level collegiate and professional athletes, focusing on recovery, performance enhancement, and injury prevention.
Dr. Swift has extensive experience treating both surgical and non-operative conditions, including ACL reconstructions, Achilles repairs, meniscus repairs, joint replacements, and rotator cuff/labral repairs. His journey to physical therapy is deeply personal—after being diagnosed with epilepsy as a child and overcoming learning and behavioral challenges, he developed a strong appreciation for resilience and patient-centered care. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through exercise, golf, and traveling.
